ComGro Director Adam Harris has a long history of working within & alongside charitable organisations and has witnessed firsthand the challenges not for profit organisations face in generating income.
Seeing the need, Adam lunched ComGro NZ in 2008 in an effort to assist charities across Auckland & Northland to fundraise much needed funds for their varying community organisation.
Since the beginning Adam has taken great satisfaction in helping Community Groups such as Scouts, Volunteer Fire Brigades, Community Trusts, Ambulance Stations, & Church groups to raise over 1.1 million dollars in much needed funds.
In the early stages of operating this was achieved through the supply of thousands of live Christmas Trees, followed by ComGro’s very own NZ designed Christmas Tree Stand. The tree stand was a hit in NZ matching the functionality of many leading stands and has since gone on to sell in both the European and USA markets.
In recent years Festoon lighting has been added to the range, and we are excited to see another new product added to the range in 2025 to further assist local Trusts with creating income outside of the seasonal period.
With regular trips to trade fairs around the world, ComGro is constantly looking for more opportunity to support the community and all products acquired create income for community groups – cause that’s what we are about.
